Brief
This luxury interior design project in Miami was commissioned by a Brazilian couple from Bahia with a heartfelt goal: to surprise their parents with a full transformation of the family’s second home in the Paraiso Bayviews condominium. With a strict two-month deadline, the project had to balance speed, sensitivity, and impeccable execution. The design brief called for a warm, elegant, and livable environment, filled with personality and tailored to the family’s lifestyle.

Concept
The design concept focused on merging cozy textures and modern sophistication—defining a Miami luxury apartment interior rooted in serenity and elegance. A soft, neutral palette was layered with earthy tones, white marble-effect porcelain floors, and wood finishes that brought warmth and contrast. The space features acoustic wood slat paneling, custom millwork, a floating TV console, and a sculptural chandelier that anchors the double-height living room.
Carefully selected materials such as linen bedding, boucle upholstery, and chunky knit throws add layers of softness. Brass floor lamps and round mirrors with wood frames introduce organic geometry and timeless style. The use of indoor greenery and large-format abstract art enhances the natural light and creates a sense of flow throughout the apartment.
Challenge
The most significant challenge was the short timeline: only 8 weeks to deliver a complete interior design project in Miami, including custom carpentry, furniture selection, lighting upgrades, and full décor installation. Since the project was a surprise for the client’s parents, discretion and precise coordination were essential. Every detail—from the wall textures to accessory styling—was executed under pressure, proving that luxury can be both fast and flawlessly delivered.
